Hi guys,
putting my bike back together, I put the rear wheel on, only to notice, when tightening the axle nut (left side), the swing arm moves (bends?) inwards and come in contact with the rear sprocket bolts/nuts. I found this rather odd.. as there's no-way of making the bolt tight enough without moving the swing-arm.. :/ ... confused, I jumped online and came across this,

And noticed,
1) There should be a spacer (#10 - SPACER,AXLE,L 64751-19C00).. &
2) There should be a washer (#11)
Neither I re-call removing... especially the spacer.. so.. odd.
I've never removed the rear tyre since owning the bike...last people to do so was Team Moto (Australia) when they installed a new rear tyre after I purchased it... so I'm guessing either they, or the previous owner, removed the wheel and lost the spacer/washer...
I'm going to give my local Suzuki dealer a call when they open next and hope they have both parts in stock (not too expensive).. but until then, and just in-case... does 'anyone' happen to have the dimensions of both the spacer and the washer? I'm Suzuki don't have it, I might head to the local Engineering supply store and see if they have something (especially the washer.. shouldn't be anything special_.
now, regarding the spacer.. is there 'anything' special about them? or are they just a solid..spacer.. ? is that something that too can be purchased from hardware stores ?
So yeh, sorry for the long post.. if anyone happenes to have details / specs / dimensions of the 2x parts.. that would be SUPER!!

Make sure spacer 9 is there, it's easy to loose when the the cush drive is pulled out of the wheel when mounting new tire. You can see the end of it inside cush brg 15 when spacer 10 is not there. Can result in gross overload and failure of left wheel bearing 14 when axle is tightened down and run without it.
(I think) bikebandit.com might have the bits/small pcs your looking for if Suzuki can't help you.

yup, that's where I found the diagram .. but.. unfortunately, I'm from the land Down Under (Australia) :( ...
Don't trust that diagram cos i don't think it's accurate for Oz models.Go to your local Suzuki dealer and see all the actual parts on their PC screen(and if needed get specs)
It's up to u if u wanna order there and then or go 2nd hand.
I can't see a problem in u making a spacer(or anything) yourself as long as u do it properly and to the correct specs.
As a hobby i use to make motorized pushbikes and was always fabbing parts.
Soooo, just a quick update. Was outside.. removed the wheel, started looking for some, picked up a garbage bag and what do I find inside of it... :icon_eek:

I swear I didn't see it when i removed the wheel... :dunno_black::oops: .. cleaned it up and re-installed wheel... now for test ride..
As for that washer.. turns out I already installed it in the exact position it was suppose to be installed ... not sure why I didn't see it there.. :embarassed:
Lesson learnt.
Always pay attention to when you take off the bike and any parts that come with it.
Always keep parts together and stored out of the way so you don't accidentally lose them... especially if working on the ground..
As for the dimensions, in-case anyone does lose those parts in the future, I took some measurements.
Spacer, seems solid, nothing special about it..
Diameter - 35mm
Thickness - 11.5mm
Inside Diameter - 17mm
