The bike is in immaculant condition. I had the Suzuki dealership rebuild the top end of the motor due to a broken bolt mis-hap. It ran great before, but will run great for longer now! The bike also has brand new Avon rubber. I am only selling the bike due to little use since I have upgraded to the 600 class. I have plenty of pictures I will post up with this or you can email me at evnpar1020@aol.com for more. I am located in Memphis, TN and will consider delivering depending on location. I still haven't heard from my Dad or brother.  I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't seen my emails yet.  It happens that my parents will be going to Memphis this weekend, but with a church youth group.  I don't know if my Dad would consider going AWOL temporarily to scout out the bike ... that wouldn't really be in the spirit of the trip.  But he might be able to work something out.

I know he doesn't need another bike - he's already got 8 or 9 including that new ST1300 he recently bought and rode to Alaska.  But I also know that he admires the GS....

I guess I'll have to break down and make some phone calls after work tomorrow.

That would be awesome. And just because it is your Pop I will give him the best deal I can give anyone. (not that I wouldn't for any of you other guys, just some incintive   )  Unfortunatly, I will not be in Memphis this weekend, but I will be back on Monday. Maybe not a help, but he will probably be busy anyways with the trip and all. If you can get in touch with him, I will be glad to meet him half way. I have plenty of pics to show him. And trust me it runs great. Anyways let me know via email or here or whatever.

Hey Newbe what bike did you pick up to replace the gs? Your Gs will move if you put the price tag at 2200-2300. I can't swing a new bike but good luck!

I picked up my friends 00 Honda CBR600F4. It wasn't my first pick since I work for a Suzuki and Kawasaki dealership, but the deal was to good to pass up. Just need to get a new fairing for her. Anyways, I would love to sell the bike for that low of a price, but I just had the shop replace the pistons and all when I broke that little silly bolt. There wasn't anything wrong with it before, besides a broken bolt lodged in the head so I had to remove the head so I went ahead and had them replace everything that they could. I also had new Avon rubber mounted; I bet I have less than 500 miles on them. Hell I still have chicken strips on them, thanks to these crappy roads around here.  At any rate, the pass you said I should sell it for isn't very far off for what I am asking for a bike in this condition.  I really don't want to put this on Ebay, and there aren't very many people interested in this style of bike around here. That is the reason I do not mind delivering it or maybe half-way.  I never get a chance to go anywhere so this way I will have an excuse, hehe.

Hell yes I would. My girl has never been there and I am sure she would be up for the trip. I would probably be trailering the bike though. Anyways, Sundays and Mondays are my off days and i could leave Saturday night. It couldn't be this weekend but could be the next. Of course I would have to 2700 cash for the delivery.
