Negative terminal deposits

Kerry was on last night. shhhhhh!  :)

On the negative terminal of my battery I usually get a small amount of corrosion. One time I cleaned it off, and sprinkled a liitle bit of water on the terminals before screwig the wires down. Checked a few days later & the crud had come back ten-fold.

that looks like a lot of buildup on Kerry's old pic of the miltipin connector. Maybe some moisture was getting in there??

Yeah, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it deals with a problem closest to mine.

You've had the corrosion, but have you ever had the bolt on the negative terminal seize so that it absolutely won't budge?  I don't see any white deposits, just orange colored ones.  Should I try some battery teminal cleaner?

I remember the bolt being a total pain in the ass to get out. I finally did it after stripping it to hell.
