lowering suspension

My wife recently stated that she would like to learn to ride.  I have an 02 GS500.  I know this is a dumb question, but being that I'm a 6ft er and my wife is 5ft er.  Can the suspension be lowered to accomodate her by merely adjusting the pretentioner?  Or would I have to do more?

Try this:

1) Click on the "Search" link at the top of this page.
2) Type in

lowering dogbones for the search keywords.
3) Select the "Search for all terms" option.
4) Click the "Search" button.
