Last night we picked the bike up at the dealer where we bought it and DH rode it back to our town, while I followed him in the car.

Now, DH is about 6'1", 270 lbs, older (52), bearded, and graying, with a heavy black leather jacket and black real motorcycle boots. The bike is red with pink stripes, white wheels, and a reflective purple pussycat sticker on the rear fender (put there by the previous owner).

He looked like a circus bear on a bicycle  - I nearly drove off the road laughing when I saw him on it.

He said that at one point on the way home he passed a man and a woman on a Harley, and the woman nearly snapped her neck turning to stare at him.  Needless to say, they didn't wave  .

Anyway, I got to drive it around some local parking lots for awhile until we got too hungry and headed home for dinner.  It fits real good - feels much better moving than it did standing still.  Easy to drive, easy clutch, non-twitchy throttle, brakes aren't grabby, it really fits me well.

I completely lucked out when I found it in the dismal used market we have up here!

Now I gotta find a jacket so I can get out of the parking lots!
