I thought about buying some of those race takeoff tires off of ebay.
There seems to be enough tread left.
But I wouldn't think they would stick well for street riding.
I mean they will never get close to track temp.
Anyone have any experience with tires like this??

The Antibody

They aren't the best for street riding. I would personally never buy them. I've heard that with the temps in which they were running, they won't get much traction unless they are brought up in temp again. This is just what I've heard, let me know if I'm being a little jerky with my info.

No I don't think you are being jerky.  I didn't suspect that the tires would do real well at street temp.

The Buddha

They stick fine for the street ... they do need temperature to stick... but just stick less when cold... Its still sticky even compared to a street tire... the problem with race take off's... Life... I got 800 miles from my rear.
Cool.
