I consider myself a Dragon local (I live in Johnson City, about 2 hours away in Northeastern TN).  I've been frequenting it in my Honda S2000 roadster ever since I got it back in May, it is such an awesome road!  I really enjoyed watching the bikes up there and that was part of what prompted me to get my GS a few weeks ago.  I can't wait until I'm experienced enough to ride up there, definitely sticking to the S2000 for now though.  The Dragon can bite and I'm a noob when it comes to riding, heheh.

P.S. It's fun to see biker's reactions when I can keep up with their sport bikes in my S, heheh.  The better ones can toast me, but I can keep up with most of 'em

Actually, that is a great place to get experience.  Just remember to ride at your own pace.  Anybody can ride a bike fast in a straight line, it is learning to negotiate curves at a proper pace according to conditions and skills.

Remember, no matter where you ride, falling off is an inevitability, so dress accordingly.
