So I'm a first time rider and I just picked up my first bike for $1100. It's a 93 GS500e with 24k miles (:o)  but I love it, granted I don't know how to ride it yet. Gotta take the MSF course. Here are some pics. I'm to be part of the club.

Looks good.  A little TLC and you'll have non-riding people in gas stations asking you where you bought the "new" ride.  Welcome to the circus.

Take care of that little bike and it will take care of you.   :thumb:

24,000 miles?  Hell, it isn't broken in yet.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Good call on the MSF before any rides.  Take it, ride carefully, get good gear from head to toe, and have lots of fun!

Oh, and purty bike, too. :)

Welcome!

Bike looks to be in great shape!

Ditto what Roadstergal said on the MSF and gear. :thumb:
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
