Guys, you need to get one of these from Srinath!!!!!  I just got back from his house and purchased a carbon one for my '91.  Not only does it look awesome, it sounds awesome.  It has a deep and mean rumble to it, and gets the bike up and moving in a hurry.  I have saved so much money going this route, but have sacrificed nothing.  Thanks for everything Srinath!!!  I am going to send Srinath the pics, and he can post them for you guys.[/img]
Life is short...Stay awake for it!!!!

Hi adam,
Thanks for stopping by - nice to meet gstwinnners as always ...
Funny thing ... I meet total strangers and sell them these... in person sold 4... impossible to turn them down ... comparing it to off the shelf can prices at dealers they just about fall off their bikes when I say $125 ready to fit on a GS they just about flip out... From pics and the text etc I have had little progress selling it. Somehow I like the Ti a lot more... Guess I like the metallic under tones...
Cool.

Cool.

Srinath,

I'd like to buy one if you still have one.

Laura

The Buddha

Laura : Yes and titanium only... last one ... I want one for myself... broke and un employed as I may be...  :x
And Frost : The pics should just be showing up with a click.... or cut and paste the link... should not be much hassle... anyone else have a problem ...
Cool.

Ha ha... you know that... the clamp around the can and to the foot peg, the fact that its a tight fit... like hammer fit, and the extra length of half pipe inside the can...
Cool.

hmm... I think that extra set of carbs I have were jetted w/ DJ kit.  The needles have a plastic washer on the top of them; and there are like 6 different rings on the top of the needles to put the little circlip on.  They also have 134 mains.... so looks like a DJ kit.

Hey Srinath.  Looks like a missed the big sale (couldn't scrape up the dough quick enough, LeeAnn went :nono: ).  Will you still continue to sell the flanges?

Thanks!
Gavin

The Buddha

Flanges yes... pipes... I have one Ti one which I wanted to keep but I am un employed and probably should sell ... so I guess I have 1 Ti one.
BTW you have a rather small window before dennis crook sells out... so if you dont get those my flange isn't going to do you any good. Si in both alternatives you should buy when its still around. BTW denniscrook is doing a scratch and dent sale... and the ones left are looking worse and worse, mine were scratch and dent as well and no scratches or dents were even visible looking at it ...   The ones they have now... the pics show the defects very obviously.
Cool.

how much is it for the flange alone?

what do we need to fit the flange on the slipon?
wileyco, K&N pod, rejet 22.5/65/147.5, F16 flyscreen, progressive springs, 15t front sprocket...more to come: katana shock

The Buddha

$30... and shipping. You need to tell me what sorta bolts you going to use so I can counter sink for it ... se7enty7 and bigorange had flared allen heads... I did it with a larger drill ... others had a straight allen head... I skipped countersinking for it... though I will next time with an end mill but only 1/2 of it can be sunk... making for an incomplete counter sink... regular hex ... I wont try to countersink those cos that will prevent a socket from getting on it properly.
BTW its past 1 oclock... I am going to bed...
Cool.

*sigh* hope they can last the week.

BTW, I see that he has CBR's, GSXR750's, and YZF still available.  Is one of these better than the others?

-Gavin

The Buddha

GSXR or YZF is what I have checked they are the same ... presumably they are all the same, just have different adapter plates ... so one of those 2 should be fine.
Cool.

Well nope ... Buy it and I can make a flange and send it... no need to have the can, I have tooled for it... GSXR and YZF guaranteed to fit, most likely the CBR is the same... so one of these 3 type wileyco cans ... I am able to make flanges wihtout the can...
Sorry didn't see the post you made ... but I replied to it somewhere else cos someone else asked me the same thing.
Cool.
