But how LOW do you GO?  :)  Aren't you in San Diego?  I guess it's humid there anyways.

I really never had a problem down in the 30's Farenheit.  In the 20's is when I got all frosted.  I never really had trouble with fog before once I got moving.  But this wasn't fog.  It was frost.  That was stil true after I applied a defogger (some green gunk about the texture of Carmex a fellow at Wal-Mart was selling from a temporary table).  I admit I haven't tried the soap, etc., and may give it a try should the opportunity arise.  :thumb:

yea I'm from SD, but we could get some pretty cool nights here.  Specially since I get to work at 3AM.. heheh..  Soap was a trick a friend told me, so that I could ride in the rain. . . .  But it works well w/ fogging on my shield as well..  FogX was just a product that RainX sold for fog.  I bought it for my car, tried it on my visor, worked wlel, so went w/ it...

I got a Foggy breathguard after reading the first posts in this thread.  It has worked well for me this winter...in the 30's, 40's coldest.  Last winter fogging of my glasses and face sheild was a problem...haven't experienced it so far...able to keep face shield completely closed.  The Foggy is soft, has a nose clip, seals well around the face/nose (does take a little trial and error adjusting).  It makes you look like a fighter pilot, and taking off the helmet includes a little rubbing on the end of my nose but no scratches scrapes.  I like it.

Months ago I had purchased a breathguard from Shoei for my Tz-1, now the Tz-1 is notorious for poor ventilation to prevent fogging, so even with Z-One anti-fog wax it would still fog. Yesterday I just purchased and installed a FogCity Proshield and OMIGOSH what a difference!

As I said earlier in the thread I had one of the HJC fog guards.
It worked, but was a bit uncomfortable.
Since then I have gotten myself one of these breath guards.
Far more comfortable and gives a better seal around my nose so
my glasses do not fog up either.

I'd say the 'double glazing' visors etc are great for stopping
fogging, but useless if you have glasses.

Well like every one here I have a problem with fogin, but it's more of a problem with glasses than the shield on a helmet. I have a Nolan N100E flip up helmet. It came with some kind of insert which is a clear piece of plastic that is shaped like the shield and attaches to it on the inside. Also I was able to buy a breathguard sepparatly for $15. So having this two things in the helmet helps and the shield does not fog up (I'm sure that it's the breathguard than the plastic shield insert), but the problem is glasses. I wear prescription glasses and they fog up really fast almost instantly, same happens to sun glasses when I'm wearing contacts. This past  sunday I took the bike out of storage for the first time since september it was about 40F in Chicago and I could not ride with glasses.

When I came back to the storage there was another bike rider there and when I told him about my problem he showed me some kind of a spray and sprayed it on my glasses and it worked like magic! He said he bough it on the bike show.

So here is a question has any body tried any kind og anti fog sprays and if yes what kind and where can I buy them? Also any one tried these?

spit..spit..spit on your visor...and rub it in good.
Just like scuba divers. Unlike us they cant just flip it open when it fogs up...
