I guess I'll get back in line for the west coast kit, after callmelenny. By the time it reaches me, I'll have ratbike ready for the adjustment.  :thumb:

Aerospike is next.  And then I think I'm next.

Aerospike - since we sorta live close to each other, we might be able to meet.

I've got a garage but I'm in Rockville, MD

I'm back from vacation and all settled into my new place, so I"m also in line for the west coast kit.  Pandy, I can come over to your place to pick it up or drop it off, depending on who gets it first between the two of us.

I'd like to join the East Coast list.  I think that puts me in line behind JunaryBunch.  If so, JB, just PM me when you're done and I'll send you my addy.

Edit - answered my own question.

Job done!  Thank you Kerry for the kit and the great video.  I've added a little flat magnet to the kit, because my round magnetic pick up was too fat to get close to the shim.  I didn't have to adjust the idle.   My only concern is I feel that the left side of the engine gets hotter than the right one.  I'm hoping I didn't mess up the exhaust valve on that side.  Are there any signs of an out of sync  valve?  Weird noise? Different exhaust color?  Maybe I'm just too paranoid.  Thanks again Kerry.

Hello from across the pond! Does anyone know of a link where the video can be downloaded from as perhaps we do not qualify to receive the kit in the UK  :(

Aerospike

East Coast kit will ship Monday.   Since Kerry is MIA, I'll just send it out and get back in line to get it when he comes back.

Cheers

You won't know what size shims you need 'til you go in, and the size you need might already be in the kit (I wasn't that lucky, though  ) And you might get REALLY lucky and not need to replace any shims!

i'm planning on buying my own kit...just wondering what shims i need...and since my bike is my only mode of transportation...it'll be difficult to go get shims when my bike is apart...

Pandy,

i need to get in line for the East Coast kit also...

Aerospike.. who did you send the kit to?

OnlyPastrana... do you have it?

If we can, let's create a list.  I'll look back and see if i can.

Frost, like pandy said, you'll need to check the clearance on your valves before you will know which shims you need.  The east coast kit usually has a good variety and i atleast lucked out last time and it had what i needed.

Edit -----------

for the East Coast :

is this correct?
LIFE should NOT be a journey to the GRAVE with the intention of arriving SAFELY in an attractive and well PRESERVED body, but rather to SKID in sideways, CIGAR in one hand, favorite beverage in the other, body thoroughly USED UP, totally WORN OUT, and screaming WOW - WHAT A RIDE!

Aerospike

I sent the kit to Junary.  It took me a while to get the bike running.
