I've done it before, on that bike even, and would be happy to help out if it fits my schedule (That is if Mark wants my help  :icon_confused: )

hey if the other guys  and me need the help i wouldnt mind it at all man! iam not holding on to any grudges!!!  :thumb:  how is the sv treating you?

JCH

Doing well, thanks :)   Had a little spill at willow springs big track but it was all cosmetic, mostly fixed it up.

The process for the valve adjustment is pretty simple.  Kerry's video helps a ton.  But all in all its pretty easy.

I did it on your bike about 500 miles before I sold it, so I'm glad to hear you've put on a bunch of miles since then.

allmtrslut-

I believe it is in Celica's possession right now, waiting to ship to you.

Thursdays, I would have to head up after class which lets out at 3:30-4, but that is definitely work-able on my end.  AgentNitz, that work for you?

funny situation is i just realized that my valves dont need to be adjusted....retarted story but i guess i will share with you peeps! i was washing my bike about a month ago and ended up puting a shirt around the airt filter so water wouldnt get in....well it seems i forgot to take it out. so..when i get passed 5k rpm the bike cant suck enough air...hence it feels like it isnt moving forward very well. i found this out yesterday when i took my seat off to look at something   but i have almost 5k miles on the bike and was wondering if i should check the valves out anyway!?!

poormanracing

i sent it to agentnitz...theyre planning on doing th check together, with allmtrslut that is...no skipping

Mk1inCali

Sorry for the confusion...I wasn't totally sure what was going on, and wanted to get it cleared up.

allmtrslut- Is the total mileage on your bike 5K now, or is that how much you have put on it?  If I were you I'd leave it be until it starts losing power, but that's me and I've checked 'em once in the (almost) 19K I have on my bike.

Status update for the East Coast list:...

Also, the kit does not include a set of feeler gauges (I'm not sure if it used to, or not) so be prepared to furnish your own. They can be found at most auto parts stores .. I just picked up a set the other day for $5. Otherwise, it rocks. Thanks to Kerry and anyone else involved in getting this kit built and making the rounds .. it's a HUGE help!

The feeler guage was something Aero forgot to include in the package to Rick. Aero still had it last I PM'd him and wanted to forward to next person, so that would be Jace009gs then? secondgen7, you still got the kit?

I think this needs to be two separate west/East coast threads...will work on that.
