Well... maybe he'll let you have the Honda cheap since you're needing to get rid of your bike for some cash... I know my bike has paid for itself just saving me the hassle of trying to park around campus.

Which college?  I like to pick up tidbits to pass along to folks scouting colleges.  The ones that nickle and dime, especially for parking, really annoy me.  I mean yes it's a privilege to go to college.  But you know what, it's also a privilege to be faculty or admins at a college, and it's there to serve the students, though not all of them think that's their primary mission.  So parking is almost a litmus test in my book.  Almost.  --Mike D.

Well.. here at good 'ol UT, a "C" commuter pass is $80/yr. That puts you a 15min walk from campus, but there's a bus that picks up every 10 mins or so. An "R" resident pass is around $650 and you get put in a parking garage, hopefully close to where you want to be. I don't have either, I ride the bus to campus from my apartment so as long as I don't miss my bus, i'm ok. I could buy an "M" motorcycle pass but I can squeeze in between cars just as close if I have to and save myself the $60.

$60 bucks a year :o

I friggin' pay $60 dollars a semester :x

But up here you can only ride for the Fall Semester, the temp does reach above freezing for long until late march...

So in  the end I pay is much as you, but damn these Minnesota seasonal changes.....

Ohh well at least the U of M is raping even more :nana:

At Michigan Tech I pay $25 a semester to park 5-10 minutes away.  I had to pay $100 a semester to park at my HS a few years ago. :dunno:

A bike pass is free here, but you are supposed to register the bike and put an ugly sticker on it.(I registered, but refuse to put the sticker on)  Also, our bike parking is 30 seconds from the ME building where most of my classes are, so I ride as late in the season as I can for laziness sake.
