Engine Swap ..

Has anybody ever tried to put a different engine .. say a GSXR-600 engine in a GS frame?!? Or anything else for that matter. You know .. one of those "just felt like it" ideas?!? Thanks!

i tried to put an empty gs frame over an early 90's kat 600 motor
the motory was just too big  too tall and too wide at the head to clear the frame at all

There is a savage I know that might need a motor ... But I doubt if its anyhitng even 1/2 way close ... Oh another problem ... I dont have the savage ...
