Ok folks,do i need to fit new bearing inner sleevers, with new swingarm bearings.

Becaues the way i see it,the sleevers fit into the bearings, which are well
lubricated with grease..

And they look ok,no damage ...or do i need to buy new....

could you tell me step by step how to replace the swingarm bearings?

Lube them up real good before you decide to replace them.  I lubed the heck out of mine and got them turning real nice.  If you need to replace them pound the old ones out with a hammer and punch.  When you get the new ones be sure to use a pipe or something that presses down all the way around the bearing otherwise you will wreck it when you either pound it in with a hammer or use a press, a press is a far better method of getting the new bearings in.

:dunno: How can i tell if there wrecked.?

The thing is i got a swingarm, with the bearings already taken out for me.

They look fine, but hayens manual say new bearings should be obtained,
if removed....

Are all the needles in there.  Does it turn freely, is there any play?  Check those three.

The key is, will the old bearings still install with a press fit?   Apply some Loctite then start the brg into the swingarm.  If it doesn't go in snug, toss it. :thumb:

Yea that raised a good point, I tried to pound mine out and they wouldnt budge, they are in there good.  So that makes me wonder if the bearings you have might be new, do they show signs of use?

Cheers for the reply`s,

ok they do show signs of use, playing safe, ordered a new set...

:dunno: Now whats the best way of installing them,?.
