frame paint

what paint will match the frame paint ?  I saw a kind listed on the search a few weeks ago but I cant find it now.

I think I used DUPLI-COLOR TRUCK, VAN & SUV T191 Ultra Silver to try to match the engine, at least thats what it appears to be after looking at an old post of mine.  It didn't quite match the engine, and i don't think it quite matches the frame either.  But it's pretty damn close and you wouldn't notice the difference unless you were looking for it.  Just one option...

I stole this from an old post from who knows how long ago...

I have a 2000 and I have found a can of spray paint that I feel matches pretty well. I bought it at a Lowes home center. It is "American Tradition" by Valspar. Interior/Exterior Ultra Enamel. Look for a grey cap with the word FLAT on it. Then look on the back where the UPC is. It should say 165887 ALUMINUM. I did some work on my frame with it and I cant really tell where it stops and the normal frame begins

Works great! I can post up pics of my touch up areas if you want, you really have a hard time telling what's original vs. the rattle can. The color is dead on for the frame. I'm not sure about the engine on the newer bikes.. mines black.

thanks that is the post I was looking for.   I tried the search but after looking at 10 pages about everything front tires to how firm the seats are. I just asked for the color.   thanks again
