Broke down and sold my GS.......

Mostly from not having the time, and a lot from pressure from the g/f and friends... I sold my GS. I work 50 hours a week.. go to school 15 hours a week.. I just didn't have the time to ride it. I ride to work as much as possible but that's it. so..

A coworker of mine now has a minty white GS500 to enjoy..

I thought you were fabbing up the 04 fairing to fit on an older style bike? Oh well youve gotta do whats best for you so I dont blame you, be sure to check in here some.

i knew i would never have time to ride, EVER.

Which is why i sold my car and have no choice but to ride everyday!

I was.. I sold it to srinath for cheap. Either he'll use it on his bike or resell it, I'm sure.

You're pussified. The only reason she wanted you to sell it was because she wants you to spend the $ on her. Also, the time you're riding is time you're away from her. You're too young to be in a committed relationship anyway. Dump the girl, she's just trying to control you. There are plenty of fish in the sea. You're in college, you should be banging a different girl every day of the week. You're not in love, trust me. Have fun, lose the ball and chain or find a new one that let's you do what you want to do.

It's primarily a lack of time.. again working 8-6 monday through friday, then school from 6:30 till 9... then saturdays are homework and sundays are for sleeping... just doesn't leave much time for anything else..

Now you know why I've been silent on this topic for the last week+ ... yea more crap for me to do ... Its getting sold ... I prefer the 89-00 body ... Only part of the 01+ I like ... the tail light fits on the older frame so well ... and pretty much flush with the tail ... Pics comming up ...

Yea they're almost done ... but the last few days I've backed off cos ... well he didn't want them and so like i am buried in projects now and I thought it better to cover stuff i had to do otherwise ... This weekend I should get back on it. Watch this space ... or some other similar space ...
89-00 will take 01+ tail, but 01+ will never take 89-00 ... talk about backwards compatibility ...
