Reason why BMW riders dont' seem to get killed as easy

I need a pair of overpants and real cycle boots, but other than I'm pretty well covered, EVERY TIME.

My favorite things about it:

I feel less vulnerable and more comfortable. No bugs in my eyes either.

Little kids think I'm a power ranger or something, they love it.

Families on bicycles who make their kids wear helmets always point me out as a good example.

Posers in Uptown on their Hayabusa's and custom choppers wearing tshirts and bandana's laugh out loud. thanks to my tinted visor, they can't see me laughing back at their clown asses.

I live in Australia up in the north part of the country.  I gets as hot as 35C over here and yet I still ride with full gear on. I have a Dririder Drimesh jacket, gloves, jeans, full face helmet and I have boots.   I think it sets you in the right frame of mind to ride.  You look the part and you feel the part.   Yet I'm still amazed at these people I see here that ride these huge road bikes and wear only a tshirt, shorts and worst of all they wear a pair of thongs on their feet!!!!!!!! Don't they want their toes .  I've fallen off my bike a few times and believe me it's my gear that saved my skin from being stripped the only thing I hurt was my pride.
