Exhausted

:dunno:  Hi, I've got to take my exhaust sysytem off, what I want to know is are the gaskets between the pipes and the engine reusable/ if not it means a four  hour drive there and back to the stockists which I'd like to avoid if possible.  It's an 89 GS on its original system.

I have re-used exhaust gaskets several times without problems - it really depends on the shape they are in when you take them out.  I would say that you have about a 75 ~ 85% chance of being able to re-use, higher if the bike is fairly new and they have not been re-used before.
