while searching the forum, i found this tubeless, Hg/oil-level-less method for syncing carbs ( http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=62696#62696 ), posted by Lars.

first, do i understand correctly, that basically you're trying to make both carbs idle at the same rpm individually?  so, hook up one, it idles at 2000, hook up the other, it idles at 2000, you're all set?

also, if you're adjusting, am i right to assume you're adjusting down?  i mean, is there a goal idle rpm for an individual carb?

finally, has anyone (besides Lars) tried this and can confirm that the method works?
