Does anyone know if you can take a SV650 peg or others and replace the platic bulky looking thing?

Thanks in advance

A lot of people do, a little modding and anything is possible. Mine from a CBR 600. Use the search function at the top and you should find some info.

CBR F2/F3 pegs are nice.  If you don't have a grinder you can get a a grinder drill bit and put it on a drill and that will take off enough to get the pegs fitted.  However, if you do go down with them you will be looking for new pegs as the more you grind the less impact resistance you will have.
