well my cheap ass signals decided to fall apart internally.  both front signals.  so i took them completely apart and resolderd the contact points.  worked good for an hour or so.  tehn all the sudden when i put my left signals on they didnt work.  the headlight would dim at the same rate the signals should blink and the indicator light would blink verrrry dim.  would a bad solder, possibly causing a short, cause these symptoms?

Because your headlight also dims, it sounds like a partial short to ground of the 12V wire.

Do you get the same reaction on the right turn signal?
