Do the pegs or centerstand scrape first?

I'm thinking of removing my centerstand next time I hit the canyons...
Or then again maybe that's overkill... since I've never scraped.  But that fear of scraping is what's keeping me from taking a more agressive line through the turns.

Any opinions?

on mine the first thing that scrapes is either the peg or my boot but thats because i put my boot farther down on the peg then most. i dont think that you need to worry about the center stand but more the pegs. you could always put an after market set on there rather then those big fat ones that come stock. but thats just me others may feel  diffrently.

+1...i scrape my pegs first. if i don't tip toe on the pegs, the boots go first

When i was at my track day i scraped my centerstand once, i have never scraped my pegs and they are stock. i also am at basicly the edge of my tires 130/70/17 and 110/70/17 so you dont need to worry.  Jimmy

Left side the peg touches down first, right side the exhaust *just* scrapes first. Only ever hit the centre stand on a left hander going over a bump.
