Yesterday I noticed a funny whirring sound while braking.  It turns out the sound is coming from the front brakes.  hte rotors look groved but ok and the pads have plenty of material on them.

Is this something to worry about?

Is it buzzing sound?
As the pads run over the holes in the brake disk, they super heat the air  inside and it expands..
As the brake clears the hole, the air inside "pops" as it escapes causeing a buzzing sound...

yeah if its that buzzing sound its normal... I didnt get it with stock brakes, but I just switched to HH's and they do that noise... if its that, dont worry bout it.

It could also be a small rock or a grain of sand caught inbetween the pads and the rotor. If thats what it is and assuming the rock/grain isn't very large, its probably not something to worry too much about.

Yea it is a buzzing sound..  i guess I will not worry about it until I replace the whole setup later this summer.... Rotors are expensive!
