Ok, my shifting rod, not the shaft that you use for shifting your foot the one inside the side case. Ok anyways think i got that fixed. But when i pull in my clutch theres no strain on it, The clutch goes in easy as anything, what's broke and maybe not working. remember my chain broke on me while driving soo maybe something is bent sooo anything will be greatly appreciated. Thanks jeff
Thanks for everyone's help.

When you say "The clutch goes in easy as anything" are you talking about the lever, or the transmission end?

Until you fully reassemble everything and tighten the clutch-side cover down, you won't be able to actuate the "real" clutch.

well i put two bolts in the case and left the other two out, but the two i put in were good and tight soo that should do it.. But why isn't the lever stiff or whatever, i no it shouldn't be real hard but harder then it is thats for sure.
Thanks for everyone's help.

If the cover is not properly alligned with the end of the rod you will get the symptoms you describe - take a look at the cable attachment at the transmission end & make sure it all lines up when you align the cover - and it will not work until everything is tight.

so you probably have a bent clutch pushrod,  which I think Dgyver has a couple spares if your intrested.
