Advice Required Please

Hi all,

Can anyone help with the following please:

I have just carried out the 24K service myself as recommended by Suzuki. I also replaced the chain, brake fluid and had two new tyres fitted (Bridgestone Battle Axe BT45's)

Couple of things I noticed that I would like to get further info on:

1) On adjusting the tappets and examining the camshaft lobes (tips) I noticed slight marking on them, is this normal?  They are not deep marks but can faintly be felt.  

2) I have noticed before that when I adjust the clutch cable (cold bike) to have a small amount of play the play increases (doubles) when the bike is hot.  Is this normal?

3)I pulled the clutch push rod out of the seal and noticed it has a fair bit of side play to it when pushed back into seal?

4) I changed the final drive chain and fitted a new rivet chain as my dealer said not to use a master link chain as Suzuki do not recommend them.  Is that correct.
