I hate my town

Last night, a female friend of mine and I went for a walk. It was late, like 12:30am. We figured we would walk to the 24hr McDonald's for some ice cream and go to the park to sit and eat it.

We walked about 25 minutes to the McD's. The lobby was closed, but the drive through was open. We tried to wlak through the drive through, but they wouldn't take our order. They said "We can't serve you unless your in a car". I was like "huh. why not?". The worker said "well, we don't know if you are here to rob us or not". That made little sense to me. How am I going to Rob someone through a drive up window? I couldn't fit my chubby ass through that lil window, and even if I could, what would I do, have the money thrown into a paper bag and run piggy back with my friend down main street?    So anyway, we couldn't get ice cream.

So we figured what the heck, it is a nice night for a walk anyways so we walked for about 2 miles. We come to the park and see a brightly lit park bench to sit on. There are a couple bars downtown, with some rowdy people out front smoking (you can't smoke inside bars/restaurants in New York) but thats about it. We sit on the bench for a few minutes until a city cop comes up. He says the park (public city park in the center of town) closed at 10pm and we had to leave. Apparently, "6 years ago, there was some vanadlism..".

So we coudn't get Ice Cream from McDonald's because they thought we might rob them. We couldn't sit in the park because someone vanadlised it 6 years ago..

So I just walked her home and went about my business. Apparently, we need to be like everyone else and go to the bar and get drunk and rowdy and obnoxious!  :dunno:

sorry to hear that.  i just take girls to double daves and get half off because i work there.  so it ends up being like 5 bucks.  am i good or am i good.

Yea When I am moving or doing some else and I have to drive that Huge ass U haul or pull a huge ass trailer with my truck I always go through the drive through and get stuck ... Love it ... usually take 2-3-4-5 of those clowns to get me out ... I keep telling them all the time, If you let people with huge trucks walk through this wont happen ... I just laugh the whole time ... cos I do it on purpose ... Moron's ...

i went through a drive-through on a bicycle once.  the trick was that i got a van to trip the sensor for me.  when i got to the window they said they couldn't serve anyone not in a car, but since i had already ordered, they let me get away with it.
