I think this may have been done before.  Regardless, a GSTwin "rally" has definitely been suggested.  I think all it will take is for someone to put the thing together.  If it is the southeast I will do my darndest to make it.  Deal's Gap is a long ride for me, but I'd give it a shot.  I've ridden to Brasstown Bald before and that was a cool ride.
