I'm going to be swapping out my fuel lines and i was wondering how much i should buy..if anyones already measure it all out and all.

Thanks
Peace

average

just did it. I bought 4ft with about a ft to spare. I got it that long so that i wouldnt have to run back to Autozone. It was enough for the 2 lines to the petcock and the one to the carbs.

why are you going to buy fuel line?  you know I have like half a roll sitting in the garage.

DAVI... you have stuff that is thin walled??? I have looked everywhere for the type of line that is on there stock. I replaced my lines, but I am still having starvation issues.. All the line I find has like 1/4 of rubber wall, making the inside diameter sooo small  :x  I know that that is prob. not causing my starvation, but it cant be helping  :thumb:

do you have enough for me to use dave? The clear walled stuff would last ?

I should find an inline filter while i'm at it too.

I got the clear stuff at a motorcycle shop.  I've heard that places that work with MX bikes use it alot.

Then I was at my small neighborhood hardware store, and right next to the clear poly hose (pvc), they had rolls of white, stiff polyethylene 5/8" hose.  It'd be a little harder to work with (stiff), but it's safe for gasoline and ethanol.

The clear stuff doesn't seem as gasoline safe..but most probably it is.

Anyone used the stuff for long periods of time?
