Bowls runneth dry... The GS fuel delivery saga

So has anybody ever quantified which part of the fuel delivery system sucks the most?  I'm tired of having to watch it or run the bowls dry and I'm making a nitrous system so I have to deal with this now.

I don't want to lose the reserve so the Pingel is out.  I'd like to know if anyone has every looked at the flow of the individual fuel delivery components on the GS to see where the bottleneck is?

If they all just suck then that's one thing but if it's one part that is worse than all the others and it can be *modified*...  Well, I'd like to know.

If nobody has then I'm going to do it - that's for sure.  I'm tired of this.

But at least we all know why the GS comes jetted so lean now, it's to not bump into the #@$#@! fuel system limitation..

errrrrrrrrrrrr :guns:

Pingel can make one with a reserve.

The only bottlenecks I know of are the diaphram in the frame mounted valve and then possibly the stock tank valve.

I run a stock tank valve (through the reserve outlet) and 5/16 lines without any problems.
Common sense in not very common.

Excellent news.  This is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.

Thanks!
