Hmmm, I never gave it a thought of where the starter is at..... Out of sight out of mind I guess.   Here and I thought it was magic when you pushed the start button.

it's the shifter shaft and linkage.  it got moved on me so I put the clutch back on and didn't even realize that i forgot it. which I then had to promptly take back off again.
