There's a used 599 at I-90, and it's $6300.

As said above - you could get so much more for the money than a new 599, so nobody bought it new...

What about the 919?  Don't know much about it.

Before the '06 prices, you could just get the 919 for like 800 or $900 more than the 599.  So you essentially get the adjustable suspension and superior engine for a few hundred more.  The 919 is a good bike but compared to the liter competition, it's bland too.  This is all my opinion of course  :dunno:

It's not exactly a middleweight (far from it) but if I were to buy another naked bike I'd be taking a long hard look at the Speed Triple.  Can't say I care for the stubby tail and can, but it does look mean as hell.

Yeah to me it looks like some kind of bug eyed fugly dog with it's tail between it's legs!  It's not all that bad but there are nicer looking bikes out there.

The GSR-600 looks like it's Suzuki's attempt to take down the FZ6. It's got the GSX-R engine in it, as the FZ6 had the R6 motor.

I would not mind having one of those here...
