How to sync the carbs?

Its a method to make sure the 2 butterflies open the same amount.
Vacuum method is sorta over rated... but doable. I eyeball synch them...

The eyeball method is pretty close and easier IMHO.

HUH!? Syncronizing the carbs has nothing to do with making sure the butterfly valves open the same amount. It is adjusting them so each cylinder pulls the same vacuum so the same volume of fuel enters each cylinder providing a smoother operation. Adjusting them by "eye" only works if you happen to get lucky.

Anyone have any comments on lars' method? That sounds like a piece of cake, any idea if it works well? Anyone else use it?
