This happens on most forums I frequent. On most stereotypically-male sites (like one about cars or motorcycles), the users are predominately male.

This leaves the few women who post to want to keep their gender a secret, or at least low-key. A few forums I hang out on have tons of women, but they don't post pics of themselves, nor do they make a big deal out of their gender (as typically, men will smother them with attention, similar to this thread).

I don't blame RG for not posting a pic of herself (at least that I've seen). It's a sad state of affairs, but that's just how it is in a lot of places.

That being said, do I want to see a pic of her? Of course! She lives a few miles away from me and rides the same bike as I. What's not to love?

Ehhh, you're right.  As a newbie I really don't have any useful information for other riders.  Hopefully, after some time and more experience I will be able to "give back" to the forum.

Until then, some of you should chill out.    Roaddstergal wasn't offended by my post so why do you feel like you have to be offended for her?  I was just giving her some positive publicity in a playful way.  If other people go too far with it, take it up with them.
