Nope, it is true. We're all gonna die  :o
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

remember few years ago, one of the network had a movie...it looked like a live broadcast covering a natural disaster. i'm thinking it was a meteor shower. and the world was coming to the end.

one clever thing they did was they never advertised the movie so people would think it was real. i think i actually looked outside... :P

We actually saw one Alien invasion type B movie back about 10 years ago ... and we never saw ads ... and heck we missed the first 5 mins or so ... and there fore missed a title if there was one ... and it was totally in that news cast format it was scary ... the wife and I watched it on our rickety old TV where it was smoky and heck you couldn't see the damn toupee on Capt Kirk's head or the strings pulling the alien creatures up and down if you were watching star trek ... spooky ...
Cool.

No.  The movie was in production before Katrina.

You can tell it was scripted before Katrina, else where the fook were all the looters?

Only the black people were looting, remember? The white people were SURVIVING and SCAVANGING.     Man, that cracked me up when I saw that.

If FEMA wants to win my trust back, they can get it by DOING THEIR F'ING JOBS... not making a TV movie

And no, I don't think FEMA had anything to do with it.  I seriously doubt that they are into TV-movie production.
