56k is no longer a problem here, got SBC Yahoo DSL a couple of years ago which only ran about 250 kbps for me till they called a couple of weeks ago and said they were doubling the speed and reducing the price.  Am now running 1500-2000 kbps and don't know why so fast but it's great.  A picture display like yours comes up faster than my ancient finger can scroll.
