I was more or less kidding but PINKS is that show on SPEED channel best two out of three drag races.. The winner gets the other persons bike or car whatever it is that night.  It kinda funny I saw a guy race a 80's suzuki  against a v-rod and win.  Its more or less bracket racing as you have to negotiate for legnths if you do not want to race heads up!  Anyway I doubt they would ever let anything as low value as 2 gs500s race on that show.

i saw part of that episode at my friends house, i thing he had a 1983 gs1100e. i ran into a guy with a 1100e from a different year at a drag strip near medina OH, he said he had just bought it 3 weeks before, and that he paid 3000 for it, it looked to be in very nice shape, and ran consistantly ran low 12's if i remember right.

sir makenzie, since I am currently buried under about 6 inches of evil horrible icy white stuff called "SNOW"  :x  everyone who can ride SUCKS!(I'm just having a bitter week and our lovely perky Roadstergirl is INTENT on rubbing it in at every available opportunity  :x  :mrgreen:

Everything in that post is right about Texas except that you forgot to mention the 10 gallons of hair spray and the fact that everyone drives a 22 foot long 2 wheel drive Chevy Suburban.
