I have a 140 tire on mine and it fits fine....a 150 would be pushing it.

...i would think a 140/80 should fit as well...you might have to put a small shim under the mounting edges to raise it up a bit if its too close for comfort.

I have a 140/80 rear tire on the back of my bike, do you think it will work on it? 

Has anyone fitted the hugger over a 140/80 tire? Sorry for beating a dead horse, but I want to make sure my preferred replacement tires fit before I purchase them (with or without shims to raise the hugger).

Sorry, don't think it will fit a 150..i have 140 on mine and there's still a bit of clearance. I believe its mentioned somewhere earlier in the thread exactly the width of the inside of the hugger, don't remember off hand.

Arrived today. Slips in perfectly - no problems at all. Beautiful craftsmanship! I ordered the carbon one because my "Suzi" deserves the best!
I will permanently mount it this weekend (or maybe tonight).

Cars have fender liners to keep mud and dirt off the suspension and other under body parts. This does that.

It really does keep the suspension cleaner. There is a gap in the GS fender at the bottom and this covers that gap. Added  Alpinestars sticker on each side and it gave it that cool factor. Everyone loves the look of it.

Hey Jeff, how about a passenger seat cover/cowling? No one makes one. That would be cool. Then I can screw on a couple bars and have a cargo rack. Make it stylish, black to match the seat, a little black rubber edging and I'd go a couple hundred for it easily.

no plans on making a passenger seat cover, and this will be the last batch of huggers for long time...just too much time involved in making them.
Once this batch is gone that will be it for while, anyone still wanting one let me know.
