So, did any of you see that Ahhnold wrecked on his H-D with a sidecar, and was not cited for never having CA M1 endorsement.  I think he should take his road test in front of the news cameras.  Some of us worked hard to be legal and follow the rules that he legislates.  I'm a little pissed off that he was above the law all this time.  I just paid his DMV office over $400 for registration, taxes, licence, etc. and now this?

And yes, the US has the same lack of accountability for elected officials that every other country does.

  Yes, this is unfair but are you really suprised? What traffic officer is going to write a ticket to the state governer?  That's a very powerful position (obviously) and there are certain perks that go along with government jobs.  If the DA's office wants to press the issue then that's their perogative.  I wouldn't bet on them being re-appointed if they do.  I'm an assistant auditor for my county; let's just say I don't have to worry about minor tickets either.

All this bitching and it turns out the Governator was in compliance with the law?    Sheesh, I'm in violation of federal law every time I take my piped & jetted Suzook out for a ride.  If the EPA ever starts cracking down I'm going to lose a couple bikes.   Plus, on a motorcycle, I'm better than ever at flaunting the rules of the road every corner I can.   Doesn't make it right, but I'll bet many of you-all are the same.
