Ok... so i read in clymer that if you move your handlebars from side to side and it effects your idle you have probably routed your throttle cable in the wrong way....

How is the GS' throttle cable supposed to be routed....???  Any pics???

By the way... thanks to all you guys that helped with my carbs... you all were right... 150 mains were defenetly too rich and the floats were stuck open and that was the cause of fuel coming out of my air filter!

Any advie would help!!!

Thanx

Could also not have enough freeplay at the twist grip.  Try adjusting a little more freeplay either at the grip, or the carb, see if that helps.

Usually, that is all it takes.

Can you send me the link on the thread that fixed your carb prob?
Not the brightest crayon in the box, but I can still be seen from a distance.  ;P

The throttle cable goes over the RH headlight ear, behind the headlight bucket, and into the frame via the triangular hole.  The clutch and choke cables route the same way except over the LH headlight ear and into the left triangular hole.

The choke cable gets clamped at the air breather plate before heading down to the carbs.

After routing and WAY prior to riding off into the sunset, make sure that no cables get cut by the mechanical stops of the steering column.
