Quick question

I have been looking at Pantablo's site, considering different mods. One I want to do is new pegs, just because I hate those huge black rubber stockers. But I'm confused on the terms.

I read "front pegs" and "rear sets", which sound pretty clear in what they are. But on this page:

It says "1995 stock cbr 600 rearsets in all their glory..." Call me crazy, but those look like front pegs. I'm pretty sure that I see a gearshift lever on the left set, so what is the deal? Are rearsets the passenger pegs, or another term for the fronts?

Ok, I got it. Rearsets are in fact the front pegs, just moved back into a more sporty position.

The rear pegs then are called rear or passenger pegs, I would assume. Got it...I think...

any ideas where you can get these rear sets???  and that woudl fit an 05 gs?? i had the guy at the bike shop go through 10 books looking for a set oh pegs for my bike and we found nothign that said it woudl fit...

It looks like you can get sets off of certain years of gsxrs and cbrs to fit with a few mods. As far as I know there are no aftermarket sets made for the gs500.

Unless I'm way off, it seems that you could easily transfer just the front pegs (for looks, as the thin metal ones look better than the fat stockers) from a cbr and with a little sanding, dremeling, and drilling, you could mount any passenger pegs up to the subframe. Just something to make it all look nicer.
