In some segments of the motorcycling community, that, ahem, item would be the equivalent of a religious caricature  I'd be the first to "torch it". Where's the taste police when you need them?
It's not how fast you go, rather "how" you go fast!

That bike has an RGV rear, a GSXR/TL forks/tripples/wheel on the front, 6-pots, full exhaust (hard to make out the variety...looks like an ART can), pods and a really clean frame.  Burn it cuz it's got grean paint and yellow hair?

pnaberhaus

The hardware....no problem.
The green w/yellow...no problem(kinda like a Lotus from the '60s.)
But the friggen "fright wig" :o This is supposed to be a sport bike, not a "Shriner's gimmick"(or is it? :cookoo:)

I think it looks kinda cool...it suits the "punk" image the people try to give these rides (rat-bikes/streetfighter).

scratch

Upon closer inspection, it is a GSXR four cylinder; look at where the clutch arm is on the right crancase, the frame beams are too narrow, the valve cover sticks out too far, and gee, that radiator might be a little large for an oil cooler.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

^hahahaha

I was sitting here thinking that frame really didn't look right...and the clutch arm and stuff...my screen is too dark to see the radiator, though...

pnaberhaus

WHEW! At least the GS500 community can't be railed for that monstrosity! Thanks to Scratch for discovering that no GS rider did that to his ride. The details are a little dark on my screen too, although the engine DID look a bit too wide though. But my eyes kept going back to the fright wig (ARGHHH!)

What you're looking at is a genuine oil boiler GSXR... can't tell the size since the externals of the engine are all about the same... Looks like an 86-89ish slabby 750 frame though.. The thing on the front is an oil cooler, no water needed!
Fett's (CRASHED) Ride-Flush Mounts, Aluizio Undertail, Aluizio Hugger, Wileyco w/flange, K&N, Sudco Jets, Custom Painted Tail & Fender, 2wheeljunkie LED Tails & Factory Clip-ons       Now I'm rolling an old school GSXR1100 w/1260cc kit built by Joe Marasco himself and two Harley 883 sportsters!
