Anyone know of any good online accessories stores?

I'm looking for a plain clear licence plate cover and a cargo net for my GS500.

:nono:Cargo nets suck. They will ruin your rear fairings. Since you have an 05 with the wider tail than mine(90),than you will definetly have some indentions in your plastic from the hooks. Just something to think about.....

the bar right above the rear reflector.

The hook will still rub against the bottom of the tail plastic.

Or, a tail bag.  I'm currently considering the Neilson-Rigg TP-902 Pro Tailpak ~$44.95.
Others available: TourMaster Cortech TB-17, two others from TourMaster, and one from Joe Rocket.

Do a search on TourMaster, tailbag, tankbag, Neilson-Rigg, Cortech, Joe Rocket, and I think Frank Thomas as well.

Also, you could check out some saddle bags.

I wouldn't mind these at all: http://www.newenoughhp.com/nelson_rigg_standard_saddle_bag_page.htm

For $56 that looks really really nice.

I am also considering a cargo net. I need something to hold my lunch while I go to school. My backpack is already full of books. One of these days my lunch is going to fall from that single bungie strap I am using.

Is there alot of rubbing/damage/paint wear with the use of a cargo net or is it insignificant??

I consider ANY damage you can avoid but choose to allow anyway as unacceptable, which makes it significant; once you start using a tankbag, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. My old Chase-Harper expandable bag has served me well for more than twenty years; I carry extra cold-weather gloves, a second set of both my regular glasses and my sunglasses, keys, pencils and notepads, the occasional map book... you get the idea. The bag has a detachable mounting system that stays on the bike but allows the bag to be removed in seconds; I hope you'll consider expanding your horizons by investing in one soon.
