Well I have just sold my 1975 Kwak` KH250 tonight and it is going at the weekend. So now I have got room in the garage for another bike  to join the XT350 the 400/4 and of course the GS. I have decided I want one these to restore. It was the first bike I ever owned way back in `82 when I was 16 and now I want another one for old times sake.

I doubt very very much if the 50cc versions were available over the pond. The TS/ER series was availiable in 80/
100/125/185/250 cc and you might have got them but the 50cc versions were essentially mopeds targeted at 16yr old learners and restricted to 3 (yes 3) hp and 30mph max. As soon as you turned 17 you could go up to 125cc and everyone did!!. If anyone in the UK knows where there is one I have cash waiting.....including a finders fee.

I've got a TS250 that looks a lot like that, color and everything! Good solid bike, especially for being from 1980. I hope you find one of the 50s! I'd be interested in seeing your restoration progress on it too. Personally, I think I'd restore an old CB750 and turn it into a café racer, but to each their own. :)

I'm with you man, an old CB is certainly on my list, and making it a cafe racer is the goal. Those are sweet.

I'm wishing I wouldn't have deserted my CB125 in college. It ran like crap then, but with everything I've learned from this site and from rebuilding the scooter, I know I could get it running and have people learn on it with no worries of them thrashing it. Damn!

I think you need an Italian in your life.

We were talking about NEW bikes, were we not?

God save us from LED turn signal mods!

Get an Ebay GS value  HERE.

Nope, but I think the Monster S2R is a better choice than the 620. Either that or wait for the Monster 695 to come out.
