I have a 05' with 600 miles on it and makes the sound everyone is descibing as cam floating? I called dealer he said he never heard of a recall or that problem?? Is their a Suzuki # to call for advice I believe this dealer is not up to par with the product so I need the most info. to enlighten him.

FYI, recalls are for safety-related issues ONLY.  There may be a campaign, and they may replace a part for free, but it is not a recall unless it's safety-related.

Edit: wrong information removed.  Don't want to confuse anything.  That's what happens when I research "WTF is cam float" at 2 am....
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:

Folks, tha't how romors get started. The GS has suffered from sounds by axial camshaft play since it's inception. That's nothing to worry about. An the newr models you can reduce play with axial shims, but the combination aluminium head and steel camshaft will always have ome play when hot.

Its an 'update' not a recall.  Supposedly it's nothing to worry about, but you can get it fixed.  Find a better dealer and use the word 'update'.  I promise you it's not a rumor, my '05 is at the dealer right now waiting for its cam update.
