I have a few hundred invested in gear.

If you added the retail on all my gear, I think it comes out to over a grand, at least.

That's cuz you keep sneezing and wrecking all your good gear! 

Man, that's the beauty of leather. My mesh jacket was toast after the wreck, but my leather is still kicking. My pants need a little bit of patchwork, but aside from that minor technicality they are still highly useable, even without the patching!

Which is exactly why when I buy, I want leather gear... Maybe Perf Leather, cuz it gets hot here in Jawjuh... But definitely leather. I like my skin too much to skimp on gear. Besides, I've lost enough of it in stupid skating/bicycling/walking/running/sledding/pushing/trampoline/eating accidents, I don't need to scrape any more off of me!
