I got up going 85km/hr today and it was something I don't think I'll be doing again any time soon.
Let me explain.

I work at a hardcore American V-twin chopper shop called WildSide Choppers andwe just started carrying this new line of scooters. So today I was wrenching on one of the little things and had to take it for a test ride. This was one of the big power, bad a$$ ones. It was a beast with its whopping 150cc engine. I took it out for a good run to get the battery charged up, and decided to see how fast I could get the thing going. 85km is about as fast as you could ever want to go on something that uses bicycle breaks and ways 200lbs. the thing shook and vibrated and took a block to stop, but by the end of it I was having fun.

Later in the day I hat to take out one of the 50cc's. Luckily this one was pink. So riding along with my full face helmet, spine protector and carbon fiber gloves, on a pink scooter, I decided I would hit up the local high school. I said hi to a few girls but none were interested, maybe they didn't dig this particular shade of pink... anyways, I was stopped at a light and a big SUV full of high school boys stops beside me with the window rolled down. I said "wanna race" and the guy laughed, they made fun of me for a bit and then the light turned green... that was that, I got smoked. lol. Does it still count as street racing if I CAN'T go faster than the speed limit? all in all; I had a damn good time on those little scooters, maybe I should trade my GS in...

I bet it would cost just as much to insure one of those 50cc beasts as it does to insure the GS500

my brother in law has a vespa 150cc. It's fun to ride and you can get it to do wheelies if you slide your ass all the way back and put your feet clear at the back of the running board things.  It also has more storage space under the seat than most compact cars. The best part is the sticker on the compartment that says "do not place live animals in here" and has a pictue of a cat with a little line through it like the ghostbusters sign.

I need to find the pictures of me riding wheelies on the C70. So sweet.
