i personally think it is by far the coolest half-helmet i've ever seen. Maybe even the only cool one (well, except for the Momo helmets, of course). i just was curious what other people thought of it.

***EDIT*** Please disregard that this is not a SAFE helmet. i am NOT planning on buying this - i like my chin where it is.

oops, i thought if i allowed everyone two votes, it would allow you to change your mind. Not vote for two options at the same time...

sorry, not trying to be judgmental. buy what you like, hell some guys don't wear helmets.

look at this pic.

see what the asphalt did  to the back of  AJ's helmet?  (actually the front - thanks Pastrana :thumb:)

ask your self this question:  if you are about to crash face first into the asphalt and time stopped.....would you wish you had bought a fullfaced helmet?

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, i'm NOT planning on buying this thing. i want more than my splendid goatee to protect my chin from the road. So, don't worry about me. i just wanted to know what people thought about it.

And 3imo, what do you know about style...you're from Alabama.

Thanks for the graciousness, 3imo...but you're unknowingly in good company. i'm from Birmingham. :thumb: i just moved out to L.A. recently to be near my wife's family. i get crap like that ALL THE TIME out here on the Left Coast. i just made up my mind to be proud of where i'm from, and prove their stereotypes wrong. Sorry, guess i should've clarified that too. i guess it's my day for inappropriate vagueness...

Actually thats the front side of her helmet just above the visor, if you look close you can see the racheting for the visor. After her accident I kept looking down and the pavement and thinking about how much it would hurt if any part of my body touched that...it was 85 here yesterday..i wore full leathers and sweated a bit but I like being able to walk/talk/feed myself..

I always fall for the LA joke.  I'm near dothan.  around the mil post, that joke gets neverending play, because of the new soldiers in and out.

sheesh....any way keep the card, you may need it one day.

'cause it looks cool, but I'd never wear it...  I like my chin.

I think it looks neat.  And like you I would not buy one.  Personally I like the flip up helmets.

There's a guy around here who drives a Camo Ninja. He totally needs to get one of these:

And i wouldn't feel too bad recommending it to him...he never seems to have proper gear on. Last time i saw him he was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Not even any gloves.  :cookoo: i guess some road rash would make him look even more rugged on his camo bike.

I think it is cool looking. Looks almost paramilitary...
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.
