I wore shades under my helmet for some time, but then one day I thought to myself... is this really safe?  Metal and glass pressed up against my face INSIDE of my helmet?  Just picture bounding and rolling down the highway with a pair of glasses knockin' around in your brain-bucket.  no thanks.

and +1 on the Shoei visors being easy.  My RF1000 is cake to change.  takes about 10 seconds.

I wear a bandanna under my helmet. Not perfect by any means, but it is better than wearing nothing. That or shave your head.

My glasses turn dark tinted in the sun, and I shave my head. I call it my Natural Born Killers Look.
