haven't been around he board much, new job, takes alot of my time. i do final assembly at a dealership (yep i now work for the dark side), the first week there everybody kept asking what my bike was (if you've seen the pics you know it's not redialy apparent what make, model or year mine is).

my engine sounds worse, but i think it runs about as well as it ever has.

they have a dyno so some day sooner or later i'll get it up there and do a few pulls, i'll scan and post the results.

well, gotta get to sleep, just saying hello to eveybody, i'm still around.
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

Cool. You should post a pic of the bike too, for visual reference. I think I remember it..yellow, right? You were a contestent in last year's GStwin awards in the Best Ratbike Category..  :thumb:

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Cool.  That would be a fun job.   Does it make you want a new bike?

That's what I'm trying to get a job doing this summer! How is it? How difficult do you find it? How's the pay?

jake d, it kinda makes me want a new bike, but not really, i hear all kinds of people coming in saying how much their insurance on various bikes will cost, that makes me hesitate. plus i'm having a hard time finding a new bike i really like, one that i could live with and ride everyday. but yeah, it's fun.

alphafire x5, the job isn't too hard, i work with some pretty cool guys. the pay is pretty good, lots of hours this time of season (54+ a week). on the other hand, if you break it you buy it (at least the part you break, thank goodness for employee discounts).

i'll get some pics of my work area, post again later tonight if i can.
